Sana Tepley first began dancing ballet at the age of 5 at Corvallis Academy of Ballet where she continued to dance until graduating high school in 2017. She then completed her degrees in Ballet (BFA) and Spanish (Minor) at the University of Utah in 2021. She danced in several classical and contemporary works including Nikiya Act 1 Variation, Giselle Act 2, Le Jardín Anime, "Preludes" by Rick McCullough, and "Maybe Tomorrow" by Melissa Bobick. Throughout her college career, she also attended summer programs at Oregon Ballet Theater, Art of Madrid, and Joffrey West.

After graduation, Sana began teaching at ballet studios in Seattle where she has been working with students ages 4 to adults. She has also enjoyed choreographing numerous works over the years for her students: from children’s dances, staging variations, and contemporary works. Sana began her professional dance career with Dance Theatre Seattle in September 2024 with Josh Grant and Chrissy Montoya. Sana has loved being in such a supportive dance community where she feels safe to grow and as a dancer, and feels excited for all the dancing that is ahead.
